开学第一天总是充满了故事和期待。Kacey和我忙于迎接新家庭、核对注册信息、收取费用并了解学生们的多样背景。与此同时，我们敬业的教师和志愿者们也在与他们的学生们熟悉，热切地建立联系并营造积极的学习氛围。学生们来自不同的社区，充满好奇，观察着周围的环境、教师和志愿者，试图理解今天将会发生什么。他们有着巨大的成长潜力，看到他们与我们一起迈出第一步，深感振奋。
我对我们新的教师和志愿者们感到无比自豪。尽管第一天充满挑战，他们依然坚韧不拔。他们不仅坚持下来，而且表现得非常出色。他们记住了我们会议中的讨论内容，遵循课程计划，甚至记住了所有学生的名字——非常棒。亲爱的同事们，非常替你们骄傲！
我们还收到了一位热心父亲的真诚感谢：“感谢你们每天出色的工作。我的孩子们非常喜欢这些课程，甚至我朋友的孩子们也分享了他们的喜爱。我很高兴认识了像你们这样敬业且充满热情的人，愿意帮助孩子们取得成功。我对你们提供的项目非常有信心，我相信我们会成为Red Deer最好的组织，提供卓越的青少年和儿童项目。”
他的信任和赞赏的言辞再次证明了我们教师们，他们的辛勤工作得到了回报。

The first day of school is always filled with stories and excitement. Both Kacey and I were immersed in welcoming new families, verifying registrations, collecting fees, and understanding the diverse backgrounds of our students. Meanwhile, our dedicated teachers and volunteers were getting acquainted with their students, eager to connect and create a positive learning environment. The students, coming from various communities, were full of curiosity, observing their surroundings, their teachers, and volunteers, trying to grasp what the day would bring. They have so much potential to grow, and it’s inspiring to see them take their first steps with us.
I am incredibly proud of our new teachers and volunteers. Despite the challenges of the first day, they remained resilient. They didn’t just make it through; they excelled. They remembered the discussions from our meetings, followed the curriculum, and even learned the names of all the students—a truly remarkable achievement. Well done, my dear colleagues!
We also received a heartfelt message from a dedicated father: “Thank you for the excellent work you do every day. My kids absolutely love the classes, and even my friend’s children have shared how much they enjoy them. I am so happy to have met such dedicated and passionate individuals like you, who are willing to help the kids succeed. I feel very positive about the programs you provide, and I am confident that we will become the best organization in Red Deer, delivering exceptional programs for youth and children.”
His words of trust and appreciation reaffirm that all the hard work our teachers put in truly pays off.
What a day! I will always cherish the sparks of curiosity in the students’ eyes and the gentle first connections we made with their souls.
