The New Immigrant Settlement Program at the Central Alberta Chinese Culture Centre supports newcomers and their families as they begin life in Central Alberta. Guided by CACCC’s mission to promote inclusion, community belonging, and practical support, this program offers settlement assistance, initial orientation services, and connection to local networks to help individuals adapt and thrive.

📌 Program Description ｜ 项目概况
The New Immigrant Settlement Program offers one-on-one support and guidance tailored to individual needs. Services may include telephone or WeChat guidance, orientation to local life and systems (e.g., government, health care, housing), and assistance with initial settlement tasks. Some aspects of the program are offered at no cost, while others may be available on a fee-for-service basis depending on the level of support requested.
新移民安置支持项目提供基于个人需求的一对一辅导与支持服务。服务内容可能包括电话或微信指导、生活与本地体系（如政府、医疗、住房）介绍，以及初期安置事务的帮助等。项目部分服务是免费的，而对于需要更深入陪同支持的内容，则可能收取适当费用。

Participants in the New Immigrant Settlement Program will:
• Gain practical understanding of local systems, services, and community resources.
• Build confidence in navigating early settlement tasks.
• Increase connections to community supports and social networks.

• Settlement Support: Guidance on key initial settlement tasks such as transportation, shopping, banking, and accessing local services.
• Referral & Connection: Linkage to community resources and service providers as needed.
• Drop-in Support: Information on community-offered services that support daily life.
• 入门指导： 通过电话或微信提供关于新移民安置的咨询与答疑；
• 安置支持： 关于初期安置事务如乘车、购物、银行业务及本地服务的辅导；
• 转介与连接： 根据需要连接社区资源与服务提供方；
• 现场/临时支持： 提供有助于日常生活的社区服务信息。
