Newly elected mayor Cindy achieved a resounding victory in the 2025 mayoral election, leading the second-place candidate by 3,000 votes. This result not only reflects her personal effort and perseverance but also signifies the citizens’ recognition and expectations for her future governance ideas. The Red Deer Multicultural Association sent a congratulatory message, expressing their support for her election. In a late-night reply, the mayor stated that the most cherished aspect of this campaign was meeting so many members of the association, and she felt deeply gratified by the addition of these new friends. Everyone is greatly encouraged, believing that in future collaborations, they will work together to promote community development and harmony, foster understanding and tolerance among every ethnic group, and jointly build a better homeland.
